Sundays

All classes 9:15am Sunday through June 14

  • The Story

    Led by Ron Cook

This fall, our adult Sunday School class will pick up where we left off before summer break. We’ll begin with a brief review of where we’ve been, explore Daniel, the return from exile, Esther, and Nehemiah, before transitioning into the New Testament.

Whether you joined us in the spring or have never been part of the class, you’re invited! This is a great opportunity to join us as we continue discovering the story of God’s redemptive plan throughout Scripture.

The fall session runs September 13 through December 20.

New participants are welcome! Join us and discover how the Old Testament story leads us into the story of Jesus and the New Testament. If you have any questions about the class, contact Ron at: TheStory@rcookcoaching.com

  • Parenting

    Led by Pastor Bob

What is your calling as a parent?

In the midst of folding laundry, coordinating carpool schedules, and breaking up fights, many parents get lost. Feeling pressure to do everything "right" and raise up "good" children. It's easy to lose sight of our ultimate purpose as parents in the quest for practical tips and guaranteed formulas.

In this life-giving book, Paul Tripp offers parents much more than a to-do list. Instead, he presents us with a big-picture view of God's plan for us as parents. Outlining fourteen foundational principles centered on the gospel, he shows that we need more than the latest parenting strategy or list of techniques. Rather, we need the rescuing grace of God-grace that has the power to shape how we view everything we do as parents.

Freed from the burden of trying to manufacture life-change in our children's hearts, we can embrace a grand perspective of parenting overflowing with vision, purpose, and joy.

  • Joshua - A Chosen Leader

Led by Kevin Redden, Jim Mercer

Going from Moses’ aide to the leader of the children of Israel, Joshua served a major role in the Exodus from Egyptian slavery to the Promised Land. During this study, we will examine his life from God’s commission to his final work in the land of inheritance.

  • Agape Love

    Led by Dr. Phil LaFountain

We live in a world in which Christian values are distorted and confused! One of those Central values of the Christian faith is agape love. But in our culture and in the church agape love has become licensed to sin and extremism. This class on agape love will cover the biblical Christian practice of agape love and will also talk about the limits and boundaries of agape love! Please join us if you're interested in studying this topic and gaining a better understanding of what love looks like and how it gets expressed in our broken and conflicted world.

  • Try Softer - Women

    Led by Kerrie Howard

Try Softer is “a fresh approach to move us out of anxiety, stress, and survival

mode—and into a life of connection and joy.” God wants a whole lot more for us than to be defined by our pasts. Whether you have experienced or are experiencing trauma, God’s will for us is not to white knuckle our way through life, but rather, for us to move past trauma, with great self-compassion, into a life of peace and contentment.
